Hooked: Jar Jacked!

Woke up at noon today and STILL I'm tired... Too many thoughts inside my head and too much grey weather outside of it.

So what did I do?? (Except for googling 'tired', which led me to a weird site that makes me suspect we really are in the Matrix...)

I made a colourful Jacket for a Jar!!!






















Nothing better than a bit of crochet on a grey day! :) Based on the Jar Jacket from Lucy @ Attic24.















Next project: wrist warmers!!

How I love dots!!! :)















So a day off + felt + dots =















A brand new handmade iPod cosy!!















Not bad for a first try combining felt and fabric if I may say so myself :) And of course... more dots contained within! ;)

Three things I saw today

Totoro madness!!

When I saw these little felt Totoros on Flickr I just had to make one!















I never made something out of felt before, but it turns out to be quick and fun! My Totoro isn't at all perfect, but I quite like him anyway :)

Three things I did today

One: bought a pyjama and some felt.

















Two: bought a jar and put buttons in it.

















Three: framed a picture.

Still hooked: Totoro

Zoals gezegd ben ik dol op de films van Hayao Miyazaki. Kiki's Delivery Service natuurlijk, maar ook My Neighbor Totoro uit 1988!!

















En je raadt het al... Ook van Totoro is een haakpatroon te vinden!! En dus ging ik weer aan de slag. Het begon nogal hopeloos...

















Maar al snel ontstond er een blauwe blob!















Met armen en klauwen...






















... en oren en een staart...















En dus presenteer ik met trots: mijn eigen Totoro!!!















TADAAAAAAA!!! :D















Tja, wat kan ik zeggen. Het houdt me van de straat ;)
