The making of… Kiki!

Ik ben zo gek op de films van de Japanse anime-regisseur Hayoa Miyazaki dat ik één van mijn ratten naar hem heb vernoemd. Dus toen ik op een haakpatroon stuitte van Kiki uit Kiki’s Delivery Service was mijn dag goed.

Ondanks mijn beperkte haakervaring weet ik één ding heel zeker: tijdens elk haakproject komt er een punt waarop het hopeloos lijkt. Bij dit project kwam dat punt toen Kiki na ronde 14 een block-head bleek te hebben. Toen na ronde 18 een kleine bochel ontstond was ik bijna gestopt…

    I love it,,,i found the pattern today that you used and started making Kiki,,i have already made a large Jiji from another pattern I have, then I saw your pics and I like the way your doll came out even more than the pattern one! Hope mine comes out cute as yours!!
