I am BACK! :)
After a very hectic month the weather caught up with me, and I spent the last week in bed with the most terrible cold! I swear there was snot coming out of my ear at some point, but I’ll spare you any further details…
There is one upside to your body reinventing itself as a mucus carrying-vessel: the only thing you can do is lay very still, and watch stuff on TV. LOTS of stuff. In only a few days I’ve managed to watch True Blood Season Two (12 episodes, 60 minutes each), The Young Victoria, Get Him to the Greek, Cop Out, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Babies and A LOT of Animal Planet…
But honestly, I would have been just as happy watching a certain movie over and over again, a movie that’s without a doubt one of my favourite movies of all time, the one I watch every time I’m sick or sad or for any other random reason: Pride and Prejudice!!
Don’t know what it is about this one, but I could watch it a hundred times and not get bored!! Enjoy the wonderful opening sequence – and the rest of the movie (!!!) – here on Youtube!!!

Ahh a girl after my own heart, pride and prejudice is a favourite of mine too :)
ReplyDeleteI also love the bbc adaptation with Colin Firth as Mr Darcy, thats about 6 hours of viewing time ;)
