Soup in the Summer...

Where the hell is the summer, people??? :) It seems like we've fast forwarded to the fall around here, and we've had nothing but rain, rain, rain these past few weeks...

The good news though: this weather is perfect for soup - which I happen to love :) I made broccoli soup the other day, and it was so good and healthy - and soooo easy to make!

Just cut an onion...

... 250 grams of leek (about 2 or 3 stems)...

... one piece of broccoli and a potato...

... and throw it all together in a pan.

Fry for a bit in some butter, add 1,5 liter of water and 3 chicken bouillon cubes, and then cook for 30 minutes. Blend it all together, and add some cream if you like.

And there you go: easy as pie broccoli soup :)

Perfect for dinner or lunch! Especially when it keeps raining... and raining... and raining... ;)

Oops, I did it again...

Buying dresses that is :)

With all the shitty things that are going on in the world these days, I tend to suffer from escapism from time to time... It is exactly what happened today, when a co-worker forwarded me a link to online store Asos and I noticed they ship for free. Two minutes and three dresses later I realised I really didn't need any dresses, but it was already too late: my order had been placed :)

And I must admit: I don't mind I didn't stop myself at all ;)

I love these colours so much!! But the one I love even more??

TADAAAAH! :D Isn't this the happiest dress you've ever seen?!? :) I tell you: it's almost as happy as me for being able to wear it soon ;)

Bring back the summer please!!! :)

The sky might be grey...

Dear People of the Earth...

... I have found my Dream Home!!!

And it's in Bellingham, Washington - apparently ;)

*DROOL*

Isn't it amazing??!! :) I sure wouldn't mind waking up there every morning ;)

It's designed by a firm called Miller Hull, and you can find more information about this house and a link to their website here.

Pin of the Day: Yes. Please. :)
