After teaching myself to knit and crochet, I like to believe you can teach yourself anything as long as you put your mind to it. So when I heard this song by South Korean composer Yiruma I thought: what the heck, let's learn how to play the piano!
And even though it seemed impossible to play the piano (!), with both hands (!!), at the same time (!!!), I am proud to say that after a few weeks of practice I can now play the majority of River Flows In You!!
Of course, when I play the song, it sounds like it's played by a ROBOT...
... but I'm working on that now ;)

nou, als jij jezelf in een paar weken geleerd hebt met twee handen piano te spelen, heb je er gevoel voor hoor!
ReplyDeleteIk heb vroeger behoorlijk lang piano gespeeld en mij is altijd verteld dat je die 'twee-handen-coördinatie' bijna niet geleerd krijgt als volwassene. Goed bezig! (en prachtig stuk inderdaad)
