Never judge a book by its cover...

... except when the book in question is yellow. And covered in swans. And happens to be one of your favorite books of all time.

I - of course :) - already own a paperback copy of Pride and Prejudice, but when I saw this hardback copy on ModCloth I just had to get it.

Because you know what? Sometimes you just have to allow yourself to indulge in pretty stuff.

And pretty it sure is :)

  1. Ooh, that is pretty. I judge books by their covers all the time. Especially when I see a beautiful antique book at a second hand shop, the content comes second (unless it also has beautiful illustrations...). I love to touch the linen covers and run my fingers over the design. I'm nerdy like that.
