... left us today after a little more than two years :( I named her after Hayao Miyazaki, one of my all time favorite filmmakers. Last night, before I knew we had to put our Miya down, I made something for the shop: a stamp of Chihiro from Spirited Away...

ReplyDeleteI used to have rats, they are such lovely pets. But I could not cope with their short life span. I cried so much for all three I lost, I knew they were not the ideal pet for me. You must be a strong woman!

ReplyDeleteI always try to keep my posts about my rats passing as positive as possible, but I'm always crying my heart out while writing them... I get so worried every time one of them is ill, and so sad every time one dies, I've decided they're not the ideal pets for me either...
Such a shame, because they're such lovely pets indeed! :)
